About this event
How should interiors respond to climate change, resource use and species other than humans? This roundtable with Philippe Rahm, Paola Antonelli, Mireia Luzárraga and Javier Fernández Contreras considers buildings’ internal spaces as parts of larger ecological systems. The program also presents an installation developed by HEAD–Genève’s interior architecture program, using reusable and dismantlable structures to explore circular design. Discussion is followed by networking.
German, Austrian or Swiss connection
Philippe Rahm is a Swiss architect who graduated from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Alongside his Paris-based architectural practice, he teaches at HEAD–Genève. His Swiss identity and education are documented in the organizer’s biography; the connection is not simply inferred from his participation in a Swissnex event.
Admission: Free, with registration through Swissnex’s Luma listing. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.; the program runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on the fourth floor of Performance Space New York.
