About this event

Architect Bernard Tschumi presents a selection of projects and ideas from across his career, reflecting on how his practice developed and how Cooper Union influenced its early stages. The lecture is followed by a conversation with Michael Young, dean of the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture. Attend in person at the Frederick P. Rose Auditorium or register for the Zoom option.

German, Austrian or Swiss connection

Tschumi is a Swiss-French architect. His practice’s official biography confirms that he holds Swiss and French citizenship and graduated from ETH Zurich. His Swiss connection is supported by citizenship and architectural education; it is not a claim that he is German.

Admission: Free and open to the public. Advance registration is required, with separate registrations for in-person and Zoom attendance available through the organizer’s page.
